200 / 55 tyre anyone tried?

    Ok guys and girls anyone tried a 200/55/17? What's your views please?

    Also can anyone see the maintenance and mods sections as they seem to have disappeared for me???

    I have one on mine Martin, seems just the same as the 190/55.. Did track day at Odiham last year with it no issues..

    I have a 200/60/17 Slick Rear and a 120/70/17 Front on my ZX10 Tracker.

    Doesn't leave a lot of room for the Tyre Warmer between the tyre and the swingarm but we manage! :D

    Yea some idiot must of used my iPad and pressed the little arrow that minimised the section they were in, obviously not me

    Yeah run Dunlop d212gp 200 rear not a great deal of difference but decent lean angle put hole in my bloody Zorst [​IMG]

    A good wheelie will sort that out Martin I'm just in process/bartering buying a rr4 blade off my mate he's skint so might have another blade coming needs a bit of work as been standing 2 years nice little project

    200 perfect on track but on the street, especially on twisty roads, bike loosing agility and you have to put more angle to take the twisty at the same speed, not a good deal.

    Well looks like 200 would be good for track but not so good on road so maybe a 190 will be better
