It was indicated on the speedo Si, the bike was only 2 months old. Mine is the 2011 HRC model. So yours should do the same?
Had mine to stop a few times! 186 best ive seen maxed out with plenty of road so mine must be a right dog Was in the wet mind, maybe that slowed it down.
No, mine only went to 299km/h. I changed from mph, so it didn't read in mph...maybe it does exceed if in mph?
I have hit over 96MPH on my standard gearing blade in First hitting the limiter. Most I've done was about 150+ with luggage in Spain pissing off a mate in his Lotus
Exactly, a standard blade with standard speedo only reads 299kph or 186mph, anyone claiming otherwise is chatting poo imo. They can easily prove me wrong by posting their video with speed indicated.....
I'm Not talking poo poo.I've got no reason to talk crap.It said 189 on that demonstrator.190 was seen with Tristram aka Soonbedead on it 10 minutes before me.It was a 2011 hrc in red at Kent motorcycles. It was a down hill stretch so maybe that was why.If it is yours anyone on here I'm sorry but it was addictive and swayed me into buying one myself
You will always get slight differences between bike to bike. Engineering tolerances dictate this. Even slight differences in the gearing (even standard OEM gearing) will change this.
I think your missing my point Collin, i completely agree with what you say and without doubt some bikes will go much faster than others and this includes stock..... What im saying is a stock speedo will NOT read past 186mph or 299kph, even when the bike is pushing past that speed........
thought they were only geared to around 185mph (at max revs) anyway, so how far you guys getting over the red line, do the blades have a revs limiter on them?
A lot of **** going on in this thread I tried this many years ago on a k6 max at 300kms not saying it can't go faster but certainly not recorded on speedo ,unless you can prove me wrong
Try the straightliners. They have meets through the year. A good one I go to is the world wheelie record attempts at Elvington (York) in August. They do top speed and wheelie records. I know its not the north west, but it's a 3 mile bomber runway, so you should be able to max out there. They have radar traps at the 3/4 point to give actual speeds too. None of this indicated on the speedo business. Not sure what it costs, but I could find out as I have mates that do top speeds and wheelies that enter.
