Well its not just Martin who got a bargain on an ohlins rear shock, I have got a TT mk2 HO931 ohlins rear shock for £695 delivered. Picked up a £31 tax and import fee from dhl so all up £726, a saving of about £450 over buying in the UK View attachment 21266 View attachment 21267
Kyle racing, found the shock on his ebay site then emailed him direct and did a deal, he also marked the value down so didn't get hit by import and tax
kyle Racing is well known over on the Ducati sites, he is very helpful and is the largest Ohlins dealer in the US, apparently ! Did Arthur not get some stuff from him and ended up getting Suzuki forks by mistake or something ?
Thats very nice SPS ! That was a good price an very fast delivery from USA . Think we all have spent a small fortune on Blade upgrades lately !
Yep order last Thursday and he shipped Friday, only downside has been dhl as they text me this morning saying they would deliver before 2pm, didn't show up so called their customer service and got told it would be between 5 - 6pm so went out for a bit got home at 4 pm and he turned up 5 mins later, which if had known it was going to be so late I could have gone into work as had a call from the army and got a days pay which I am disputing with dhl customer service at the moment
very nice indeed!!!! great price too unreal.. Why do we have to pay through the nose for stuff in the UK!!
Yep thats right, long time back now but they sent me FGRT815 and not FGRT813! Easy mistake to make with the label, he sent me the correct forks and I got to keep the others for $1,000.00!! Sold them on for UK RRP I did ask for another pair and he told me to @@@@k off.....lol Nice shock that just a PITA to adjust with a hugger!!!
Am hoping it won't need much adjusting as it's been sprung and adjusted for my weight, just need to adjust the ride height
For what it'll cost to get it set by a pro I would head down that route. At least then you will have both ends acting together.
