Hi guys Dunno if this has been posted before as I'm new on here. Here's my dilemma I've got a brand new repsol blade my13 . I reckon the standard exhaust is a bit plain looking and also very quiet , even the post woman says " your bike is too quiet " the dilemma is what to get without voiding the warranty or having to take the thing back off if I take the bike for a service or warranty claim. Honda where I got it from will sell me a carbon aprapovic slip on for £970 fitted & re map, or a full system for £1150 including fitting and re map. These prices seem ridiculous . However they tell me if they do it it's ok for warranty etc, also does it need a re map with just a slip on ? They reckon it wouldn't run right without a re map. Anyway that's enough from me. P.s I need summat street legal db wise as well. Also the insurance wanna know if it's gunna add 5bhp or more. Prob to increase the premium Any thoughts guys ?

I like the Carbon Akra on the Repsol, as you can tell, but also like the Racefit black and the Arrow above I have had the Akrapovic slip-on without CAT (about £650) and now have a full system (BSB headers and slip on carbon can), both perform excellently, sound great and fit well. I had the slip on fitted to both my 10 and the 13 blade from new by dealer with no warranty issues. Some dealers say 'Re-Map' when all they mean is a ecu reset, this is not a remap ! for that you need a Power Comander V or Bazzaz and dyno time to get the fueling spot on. Saying that many people run pipes with no PCV with no issues hope this helps
I put an Akro Anniversary Edition on my 13 plate Blade which came with CAT and FLAP in link pipe, eBay brand new £599 delivered with no engine re-mapping needed. Looked great and sounded spot on. Akrapovi?
Racefit black edition, or the new Austin Racing Jase has. Note the baffle cable tied in, just for when I'm cleaning the bike as the neighbours get emotional!
Like them all, some nice looking pipes there guys gotta admit the aprapovic carbon does look really well on the repsol. Maybe the cheapest option for an end can as I just want a nicer look and a little more noise . Not that bothered about more power etc the things fast enough as it is. Dunno if there are any more options
Here you go Stevie this is the all road legal with cat Titanium edition as I didn't want to fall into 'Stealth Mode" First Without Leo Vince Heat shield Then with looking tones better IMO Forgot to say cost £700 off ebay and fitted free at Robinsons no re map required just an reflash! (Unless thats the same thing of course)
Leo Vince SBK works a treat on mine, and i believe the same as alot of the guys used in the TT. Sounds good!!

Dunno what the re flash is , are they summat to do with that butterfly valve or whatever it is in the exhaust , was called an exup valve on my r6 . So wonder if it's summat to do with one not being there when an aftermarket can is fitted the ecu needs summat doing ?
