I'm another fan of the Taylormade. I know it doesn't have many fans here - but they are the best looking exhaust for the blade imo. Here's one fitted to a Repsol :)

It's the one I'm currently saving my pennies for :)

No the butterfly valve is still in the road legal exhaust. The ECU is a self learning system and when the exhaust is fitted they re set its values so it can learn how the bike runs. In ley man terms. as explained to me by the mechanic. Then if you go with a full system with no cat then a power commander comes into its own so a full re-map of the fuelling system can be imputed. Hope this helps.

    Carbon R-77 :D
I love the noise, the looks and the quality.
If the UK prices are too step, consider import from US, almost half price

Ah I'm now enlightened with what exactly they were on about with the ecu , however I don't think honda would be too amused with me buying my own and have them fit it and sort the ecu. Reckon they wanna sell me it and fit it etc etc

Yes Mac, you're right. I find it very strange how the TM zorst seems to upset some folk on this forum. Some of those monstrosities I see sticking out of the side of some of the bikes posted here just make me wince, but hey, each to his own. IMO nothing beats an 'underseat' but as in your pic', a 'REPSOL' with a 'TaylorMade' comes awful close.

    Nick.

The ECU is a self learning system and when the exhaust is fitted they re set its values so it can learn how the bike runs.
Is there a trick to reset the ECU or does it have to be done by honda ??

Have you seen what hides behind the cover of a TaylorMade! Frightening !!! No wonder they spent so much time on the cover! And it makes it look great.
