This Saturday last year l was enjoying Breakfast at the Craiglynne Hotel, Granton on Spey with the best bunch of dudes ever as our Tour of Scotland was well under way! After breakie I watched Dave V get jiggy with his waterproofs just before I shot off after Bruce Smart,Jimbo,Dave, Andy and the boys heading up to John'o' Groats like an excited pup only to get rescued by Al Blade as the rest of us guys were heading across to Mike's (Giv) favourite goat trial! Applecross!!.. and then on to Spean Bridge to end off an other cracking day! The Silver Fox (Firebloke) found a wee pub for our evening meal which turn out to be an absolute hoot with Jason,Garyb,ColinBr and Giv and the rest of the boys! Ahh good times with the most amazing group of guys each and everyone of them!!.. Salt of the earth really Thanks for the memories dudes
Wow!! Can't believe that was a year ago. Was an amazing weekend and even the weather couldn't put a downer on things! That ride to John o groats in the rain is something ill never forget Also can't believe it was the start of the big mans epic adventure and the crazy idiot is still riding his gixxa non stop a year on! Lol That weekend hasn't finished for him
It was an absolute awesome time, great memories of riding with a group of top blokes. Lol, I can still see Andy eye's that night!!! We need to do it again.
Not my best edit - had a really busy year last year. Also learnt loads more tips from Austin Vince now
12 months !!!!!! Can't believe it, we really should do it again ? Colin where are u ? Top weekend and lots of memories
T'was a mint weekend, made new friends had a lot of laughs and some nice riding out on some great roads! Was my first ride out on current bike too since picking it up, was all going pretty well and settling in till the pirelli's got aquinted with the rain........Pirelli will never don my bike again while its being used on the roads that's for sure! Will never forget those seriously bloodshot eyes Andy was wondering around with on the Sat nite! Haha forgot bout this Dave did get some knee down action too!
Looks like a cracking journey was had by all, I recognise loads of the roads you were on too. If your going to do something similar again I will definitely come along for the crack.
I was thinking of this last night actually when on my way down thru the Lake District. Can't believe this is already a year ago. Things have been so busy this year, with me moving jobs and home that it has went passed in a blur. Next year I plan on making up for lost time though, as even this year looks to be a very busy year with the pitter patter of small feet due this summer. The Scotland Tour is without doubt 1 of the best experiences I have ever had, and 1 I hope to repeat. Good times indeed
I believe his eyes were pre-hammer call tho! But you are correct sir......HAMMERTIME was indeed called!
yep what a good time by all and even a year on that weathers the same am on me way up at the end of this month but the other way around and only 3days to do it in so am hopping for some better weather as I need to do it with some pace
We'll have to arrange 1000rr's Tour Of Scotland! Part II The sequel!. Each and everyone of us took something special from that weekend that'll never be forgotten and I can't wait till we all hit the Highlands again
