    Before the start of Vera last night (Sunday 11th May) A announcement was made that 'some viewers may find some of the scenes distressing)
    they continued scenes of dead deer. WTF is that all about .

    I didn't see any such warning at the beginning of the DVD of Bambi ffs! Distraught for days I was... ;)

    Nothing thankfully. But it didn't end well for Bambi's mum. Scene's of horrific violence, without warning. Traumatised I was... :(

    No, no, no. You've got it all wrong.

    Bambi's mum ran away when the men with the gun's car backfired. That last scene of Bambi and his dad was them waiting for her to get home so they could all have a good laugh about it.

    I know this 'cos my dad explained it to me in great detail before we left the Savoy...
