The bike is due for an MOT saturday so im holding of until then to fit the new racefit exhaust. however ive pulled it out off the packaging and it has a threaded hole in the lower part of the pipe. Im thinking its for an o2 sensor?? i have tried searching the forums and google but i havent found anything that helps me? do I have to blank off the hole or put something in it? im not running a PC just yet? help?
It's for the lambda sensor which is in your stock exhaust. Just be careful when unwinding it out of the exhaust and count the turns so you do the reverse putting into your new one
I watched a few videos of people removing the stock exhaust and they never removed it and I didn't see any cable coming from the old one. I guess it will just be on the side somewhere?
thanks sps just wanted to make sure I had what i needed before dropping the stock one to have to refit it again.
For a couple of things, one to make sure I didn't get any servo problem fault lights in case it turned to much without the cable , second was weight loss and a space to put my power commander
Just make sure you return the servo to its start position when you remove the cable, otherwise that will cause the fault light to come on
i think the previous owner did the flapper mod, if i'm right in thinking that it should already be out of the servo?
