Another one of my work colleagues just bought a Cerbera, apparently an ex RedBull car running 380Bhp. He's banging on about going up against my RR6 and how it's only good on the straights and i'll soon be in his rear view mirror. What do you reckon guys???

I've offered him to come to Silverstone, but he says it's just a big circle with real corners. Maybe I should offer to go up against him in the rain and just pass him as he wipes out on the first bend :D

I had a Cerbra 4.5, and even though its quick, its around 2.5 - 3secs slower than a blade to 100mph.

Tell him to go and challenge a Stage 5 Nissan GTR R35 (650bhp+) and get his ass whipped both along the strarights and also through the corners.

Wont stand a change against a newish 600cc or 1000cc bike, apart from in his dreams.

The Cerbra was a quick car, but that was back in 1998, things have moved on since then!!

The engine also takes around 15miles to warm up to temperature, by that time you wont even see him in your mirror!!

Being as Alex Lowes uTube Vid shows a Blade spanking a current BTCC Touring Car and a McClaren MP4-12C then it's pretty obvious there is virtually no road going car that'll beat a well ridden Litre Sportsbike.

Even the Nissan GTR Safety Car at the recent Oulton Park round of the BSB was holding up the Superstockers when circulating and that's considered about the fastest standard road going production car available at the mo.

I've driven a Cerbera and it is very very quick for a car but there's no real contest against any decent sportsbike! Tell him to get himself a V8 Ariel Atom to make it more of a contest :D
I know its not a TVR but just shows the outcome supercars against superbike!

last year i bought myself an audi rs4. its rated at 414 bhp and its damn quick but its not a big bike beater in my opinion. in the corners its amazing and meant to be around 175 unlimited but sheer acceleration the bike has it.

Good idea, should I be putting the GoPro on the back then :D

What are the chances of getting the organisers at Silverstone to allow me and the TVR on for a couple of laps over lunch?

    Having out paced the v8 M3 on a 1999 ZX6R I think you'd be ok.
