What oil and viscosity are people using on their 08-14 blades?

    I am just about to change the oil but wondered what make and viscosity people are using?

    There is certainly a whole load of threads on oil, I have read most of them as was interested to know peoples view's too.

    General conscious is either 10W30 (as recommended by Honda) or 10W40. Honda recommend Castrol but a large proportion suggest Silkolene is better.

    I guess it's all subjective, 10W30 or 10W40 would unquestionably both be fine in the UK temperatures, any brand so long as one of the main players will be fine. As for Synthetic or Semi, you'll need to search for that one and read yourself as it's a minefield of opinions!

    Jeeze he would come in handy for adjusting the preload on you shock :eek: He has a castellated smile :D
