Waterproofing the AUX hatch on the Drift Ghost

    Quick tip, have no idea if anyone has already done this or not! :D

    For those of you that are worried when using the external mic with the Drift HD, you'll notice that the hatch you have to use is not water resistant... Easy fix, bead of silicon :D

    To be honest mate, Ive had my poor drift out in some pretty crap weather and its been fine so far.
    just keep her clean and dry once your home.

    Well, use a little common sense, wait for it to dry before fitting it.... ;-)

    I'd like to see that Jizzed on mess dry flat enough to form a secure seal.

    It'll be fine as it is TBH bar torrential downpours in which case I doubt anyone would be out on Track in any case.

    That's why you build it up thicker than the gap left between the hatch and the camera...so when you screw the hatch down, it'll compress the silicon in to a Water resistant seal.. Does not have to be perfectly level if built up thick enough

    My ghost lens and digi screen steam up when it's cold or damp, given up with the Aux cap.
