seeing as this is the only motorcycle forum worth visiting and knowing one or two of you guys have had supermoto's in the past, I hope you don't mind if I ask for a bit of advice.
My rhs rear indicator has stopped working, having had a looksee it's knackered, so off to Halfords for a newbie tomorrow, whilst I was looking I noticed my no plate was wobbling about a bit, it then came to my attention that the previous owning Gorilla had absolutely butchered the rearend and just screwed in a couple of self tappers to hold the no plate in place (please see pics)

I've never been particularly happy with the look of the backend it has an 8 x 7 no. plate, I was thinking of getting rid of the hacked piece which includes the no plate light and just mounting a 5 x 5 plate on the rear piece below the brake/rear light this would leave it pointing skywards and with no white light illumination how do I stand legally on that ? also how would I fit indicators that aren't going to be in direct line of fire from the exhausts ?
Failing that it's a case of smaller no. plate and the self tappers replaced with nut and bolts any advice on how to tidy it up greatly appreciated :)

I would check to see what tail tidies are available for your bike mate.
It'll look better and normally they come with a new reg plate light supplied.

Hmm doesn't appear to be anything available for a 625  have a mate in work who spends his whole life "creating" maybe i'll talk to him

only passed my test 3.5 years ago Marco, have had a cbr 600f and my Fireblade both have had slipper clutches, abs etc so that "toy" with no mod cons has taught me how to use my brakes correctly how to change down without locking up the back wheel etc etc I'd call it a very usefull tool not a toy ;)
