    Looking to get a power commander 5 and wondered which one I'm better off getting the 16-002 or the 16-034 version it's for my 08

    Think 002 is for 08-11 bikes 034 is for 12 onwards matey

    The harness changed 12 onwards

    The 12 harness will fit the 08 but not vice versa from what I've read

    Get the 034 it will fit all blades (it has 1 connector for each of the injectors + tps) and most other hondas.
    The 002 (has 3 connectors )will only fit 08-11 CBR so the audience to resell will be smaller. The 002 however is easier to fit.

    Correct also cb1000r pcv will fit 12-13 and 08-11 as will 034

    So if its which would I buy 034 as it's also cheaper at sportsbikeshop there £260 new I think

    Hello
    I have fitted a Leo Vince Slip on and even though I have done a reset the bike is still hunting on tick over and low revs.
    So I guess its Power Commander 5 time.
    Can you tell me if they are easy to fit?
    I have a data tool alarm in the rear seat section, so I am hoping there will still be room to fit this unit too?
    If not easy then I will get my local dealer to fit.
    Off to Assen at the end of June so want to get it running right
    advise as ever much appreciated

    So Power Commander don't make an exact map for the Leo Vince slip on and they have sent me a closest too suggested map.
    In peoples experience do I I just the commander down the map and plug it in or do I need to then take it to a dyne place for proper tune up?
    Trying to work out costs.
    Advise much appreciated

    I have a downloaded map and get on fine with it, yes a proper set up will be better but depends how rich you are lol, it's not 200 quid better in my eyes and I can't fault the way it is now :)

    I would try the map they sent, if it still hunts or are any other characteristics your not happy with then you need a custom map. Would imagine it would b fine though. Custom map about 200 quid..
