That's great news Colin. Please put me on the list with Dan. Sorry if seem over keen but the guard list filled up in a day so you can,t blame us for being super keen, lol. Your work is in high demand mate !!!!!!!
Forgot to say, this link is the right hand side link, i havent really mentioned this to Colin either. as you look at it the side where the captive milled out threads are were done the wrong side of the link, the idea being you dont use nuts & bolts, just bolts, through from the gear linkage side, so you dont have to faff about holding nuts behind the can or even take the can off (as it was originally designed to come off as quick as possible) Had a word with a couple of race chaps who used the link, its 15mm raise and 10% more progressive. its the danglies
Sweet . Iv been wanting to put lower bars on just to get myself over the front a bit more but have been worried about them catching the fairing . Problem solved with these hopefully
I'd probably just make them so that u use the original bolts and nuts. It'd b a lot easier to make. Have you used these on your bike Craig?
Put me on the CBRacing pre order list, I don't really care what your making just hate to be left out lol
No mate ive got an RR7, my dad used the same link as this on his RR9 and said it made a great difference!
15mm increase in ride height should really improve the steering and the way it drops into corners, will be an awesome mod. I would like to become a test rider / development rider for CBracing custom parts, LOL !!!!!!
Do u think it would benefit myself. I only ride on the roads and nowhere near to the point of reaching the bikes limits. I've only been riding for 3 years. Don't get me wrong I love good handling.
Yes mate i do, the 2 main ways of sharpening up the steering on the blades are either dropping the forks through the yokes, sacrificing stability, or raising the ride height, with a standard shock you soon run out of adjustability, with this you get the best of all worlds. and for a 'newer' rider you will notice harsh bumps etc smoothed out a lot more, as its more progressive.
Thanks mate. I just didn't want to go through the hassle of fitting 1 n then finding out that it would only benefit someone that's on track. It sounds like a really good mod for me.
Hi Colin, can you put me down as a possible for the ride height link and footpeg adjusters if you make them. Cheers Tony.
Ok guys There's obviously a bit of interest in these ride height risers. As I said Craig is being a total gent and sending me up his to get the sizes from. I'll have a look at it as soon as it arrives. I fancy the idea myself as he says it would even benefit my bike and riding style. I've got so many ideas just now
