I have just use Dunlop Wets on my Silverstone TD. Amazing tyre. Bought for about £60 last year on Ebay and now after using them the best purchase I have bought. I was with 3 others on dunlops Sportsmarts, bridgestone 20's and Avon Storm. All of which were not close to the Dunlop wets on a very wet TD

So who has wets? What do you recommend other than the Dunlops wets. And where did you get yours?

I will be talking to Andy at DT once I know what to go for. As I will be buying at least 4 sets for another spare for me and a pair each for my mates. they are paying for them of course once I get them

Dunlops seem to get best reviews, was blown away tbh.

Racetec rain were very impressive but didn't seem quite as good but could be track grip levels??

Need another day on them tbh to cast full verdict

Probably going to get shot down in flames here in a second but thought I would mention this anyway but a mate of mine who bought my old R6 and now is getting it race ready did a wet track day at Snett with the PR3's on it that I had fitted on there and he said the grip was amazing. He said whilst it wasn't as good as full wets he said they weren't far off and made a great intermediate tyre. Just incase anybody was interested thought I would give it a mention....

Seeing how all 2 of my mates had good all round tyres on from the excellent Sportsmarts to Avon Storm and 020's and the issues they had on a damp track to very wet track and I had no issues at all with heavy braking before corners to leaning the bike into corners. I think for how much we use them. IE wets should last a year or 3 they are a great investment.

My Dunlops has done a wet trackday before I bought them. in great condition and after another full day on track are still like new

Not at all, seen my pal Russ go out in pissing down rain and go quite well on them.

However in the same session, I lapped him at brands gp on my first outing on wets, that's how good they were - we are similar paced in the dry!!

You could here his rear spinning up on pr3's he was giving them that much stick but corner speed and grip he said was amazing for a road tyre.

But until you've tried full wets, you won't believe how good they are.

These are my racetecs after 2 wet sessions at donny so gives you a feel for lean angles

As said, wasn't as comfortable as with dunlop's (could be track / could be me / could be tyres) as on dunlops I pretty much took em to the edge of tyre from memory.

Andy can check for me as he has them now :(

wets will last a while,it's the edges of the cuts you need to keep an eye on as it's this that cuts through the water, when they start to scuff up,round off it's time to start thinking about some more.

I managed to almost get to the edge yesterday. About 5mm left so was impressed with how they worked in the wet

Tyke & Wedgie had no issues with getting there knee down in the wet at Anglesey which led to a conversation about 'why do they double up sliders on televised races?' Not sure what make of wets they had.

Dunlop Wets on my WOW's also, never cease to amaze what they can do.

Didn't have one slip or slide whatsoever on our recent all day Wet TD at Oulton.

Having said that The Firebloke had a new rear Wet fitted by the Tyre Team present on the day which seemed even stickier at a standstill (Finger Test)
Not sure which manufacture it was now but it wasn't Dunlop, might have been Bridgstone?
