    Evening all,
I've been a bit of a lurker for a while now. I'm on my second 2008 blade (first one was nicked from a public car park). Bought this latest one last year. Added a few mods (dan moto exhaust, power commander, quickershifter - cheers Arthur!)

Anyway, this might be an obvious question, but does anyone know where I might find the factory suspension setting for a 2008 blade?

This blade feels slightly different to my last one (rear feels a lot harder).

If the details are in the PDF maintenance manual - great! Let me know and I have a dig around.

    Thanks

Same here, had some settings I got from here a while back, dialled them in at the weekend and the rear bounces like a pair of double Ds

Yeah it a real shame there isn't a sticky on here of personal suspension settings with weights :( unfortunately after getting them done previously I find most of the guys are reluctant to part with the info because of the cost of having the individual settings done! :( When I eventually get mine done I'll share with all and I'll try'n start up a sticky in the Maintenance section ;)

Nice one SPS for helping out mate and sharing your settings:D

Donno if this will be of any help :)

So...I'm readying myself for some adjustment (haven't found those standard settings yet) and realised I don't have a c spanner (bike didn't come with the tool kit).

Anyone had any luck with one of these or similar?

The other obvious option will be to get hold of an original fireblade one from eBay....thoughts?

That spanner might not be big enough as the preload diameter is bigger than 51mm, I might have a spare tool kit at home, will have a look and let you know

Sorry to be a noob... But for settings on "turns out", do you simply adjust to fully hard then come in 2turns? Can you damage anything by over running on turns out past " fully hard/soft".

I'm around 12.5st fully kitted so be nice if someone has had it set professionally. Though I doubt they will share understandably.
