I'm going to buy this unless anyone can recommend me a better/cheaper option? (Has to be similar size and style though). PrimeTools.co.uk :: Product Info

Halfords pro...similar style, looks better and built to last, isnt weird how very few home or pro spannermonkeys use BETA....
The sealy unit will not be a patch and the BETA mate! also forget halfords! Get the beta or snap on trolley! We would all love to use snap on at home as well as work but its wee bit dear so opt for Bluepoint really good stuff
Why forget Halfords, the Halfords pro stuff is now regarded by pretty much anyone as being as good as Blue Point stuff, only the REALLY top end snap on stuff is better, along with king dick, ive had, and got rid of, Beta equipment as it was forever going wrong, inparticular the ratchet spanners of which i had replacements on 35 different occasions. PS, i have 2 ful set ups, one is mainly snap on, which stays at home, the ther is Halfords Pro, which goes with me to race circuits all over, and has never let me down
That is a thing of true beauty. I have a few bluepoint ratchet spanners and they are top notch quality.
halfords are shite for anything they make end of RUBBISH! As for Tools yeah i have loads of snap on facoom bluepoint etc etc! The beta box is cool mate go for it
I believe Halfords tools are made by Draper, reasonable value for the money. if you earn your living using tools and can afford the best get them, if not way up how much use they will get and whether they are value for money, as for the toolchest it looks good quality, however it is about a £100 pounds more than others on the market. I could not describe it as a "thing of beauty" though, it is a box with drawers set on wheels that you will through your tools into at the end of the day.
I am a toolmaker by trade and I am afraid items like good quality tools are a thing of beauty to me! Sad I know, but there it is!
As a toolmaker Steve, what is your view on Halfords Pro tools/storage? I have their 150 piece socket/spanner Pro set & I've got to admit they've never let me down so far (touch wood )
I'm a toolmaker to trade aswell and I have halfords pro tools. Honestly can't fault them mate. I also have the halfords pro tool chest and it's great. Couldn't reccommend them more.
I have both SnapOn and Halfords Pro boxes, I have nearly all SnapOn tools but dont think the boxes are worth the money imo, they are not much better than Halfords Pro! I would rather have a Halfords box full of SnapOn/Bluepoint tools than a SnapOn box full of cheap tools! I do have this HM Plant SnapOn roll cab that I got off eBay for £800.00.. RRP from SnapOn was £2,200.00inc! Not worth the RRP imo! However SnapOn do make some high class boxes that you will never see, stainless steel but start at around £12,000.00.! The do have the whole HF Pro ratchet spanner set and I love them, better than SnapOn I would say!
