hi bladerr8, the studs and nuts are pro-bolt ti, nuts are bi hex. n/t it gets ridden to death over 8000 miles now, just a clean freak.
Cheers Bladeboy but their too rich for me unfortunately the studs are £50 each and so are the nuts so £600 for 6 sprockets and nuts is a little on the steep side to say the least.
Jealous as hell like!-- can't get to them as I'm in Mexico lol. Silver wedding anniversary guys, by the way what's the weather back in blighty? 30 here today ha ha. Back in two weeks but I'll be keeping an eye on you all, free wi/fi.
bladerr8, i think you have misread the pricing, they are about £100 for the set, they come in packs of six. hope this helps
Cheers for the info bladebhoy I did find it a little confusing as the nuts were listed as £50 for a set of 6 but then it said the price was per nut ?!?!?!?!?!?
Jeez I thought it would have been there by now. Time to get that axe out n start chopping down they're door.
Just so you know Colin mine has arrived the missus collected it from the post office today but I m away with work till the weekend so will post some pictures then. I have an all black one to go on a black swingarm so its going to look stunning like Jamie's only difference is black wheels. Great photos by the way Jamie !!!! Colin - whats the latest on the linkages, do you think they could be possible ????
Nice 1 mate. The guard will look mint when unget it fitted. I've still to see the linkage mate, it hasn't arrived yet so maybe tonight I'll know better. I'm going to have to have a serious think about doing them though. Reason I'm a bit anxious about them is that it's a part that could lead to someone getting seriously hurt if it fails. I know that the material Ive got for them is more than upto the job as I've went ahead and checked all the specs for it. The last thing I want is for someone to get hurt.
Hi Colin totally understand your concerns and obviously its completely your decision you obviously take things seriously which is comforting to know. Don't take this as pressure or me trying to persuede you but your a perfectionist and a professional and if you tell me you have checked the material specification and your happy, then I m more than happy to fit the item to my bike and ride it. No worries either way though dude its totally upto you and if you don't make them I totally understand and will look into getting them from another source if possible as it sounds just the mod I want. Thanks again for the guard everyone else's looks stunning and I can't wait to get mine fitted.
Cheers Colin just got home and got to see my new chain guard. Nice work chuffed to bits. Thanks fella
