    Dear All

Next week i will be discussing a new bike cbr1000rr abs purchase and i want to fit the following things. Hugger although it does not fit abs version. seat cowl, tail tidy . Crash bungs Tank pad . As it's about value for money which are the best accessories to get from honda and those i can buy from other sources.

    Thanks Chris

Carbon tank pad and fuel cap cover from Honda. Hugger and seat cowl from here or ebay, Honda prices are silly for these. Tail tidy depends of if the dealer will give a discount, they are a fairly standard price. Crash bungs I wouldn't fit them, read a couple of stories about them snapping and not being able to get the bolts out plus some of them look crap. Fork sliders are ok .

    asv levers...

crush bungs i think is a must i think...i heard of a story where a guy fell off and the bung got stuck in a drain..did not have a happy ending..again rare i think...

i have come off afew times, and the bungs have saved me from spending ££££'s on panels...

    personal preference i think..

I'd jump in with both feet pal and swap your panels for a chinese replica. For the price of the Honda carbon engine casing sliders you can almost get a full GB racing kit.

Proper parts work well...and you will always get your money back...for when it cones to selling the parts off later..
