I'm having a bit of trouble getting a van sorted for Monday. I had planned to use the works van but someone else has took it and I can't get hold of them. So I'm a bit stuck getting my bike to silverstone. I can't hire a trailer because my car is off the road at the min. (Can't be bothered to fix it!) So can I be cheeky and ask can anyone local to Leicester help me out and pick my bike and kit up. Long shot I know but if you don't ask you don't get.
Is anyone takin a laptop ? If so I will bring my gopro too , I can only download to my iPhone as we only have iPads at home !!!!
Can you get a twin trailer as i could drop my single off at yours and tow both of our bike the rest of the way on monday morning? Failing that, stick the numberplate from your Blade on the gixxer and carry your tyre warmers there
Either way, as long as you can pop your warmers in a rucksack as you'll not be worrying about taking a genny. I'm leaving mine at home and just adding a long extension reel. It's just fitting the warmers without stands thats the issue, but we could always time share or use the roll on roll off method
Hopefully I get hold of the van tomorrow. I'm not wasting a day off work just sitting at home. I'll be there on a bike. It ain't the end of the world if I don't bring any stands, warmer etc.
Well after selling my Trailer on Wednesday it occured to me that although I'd test fitted my Bike in the Van I hadn't actually test fitted all the gear as well! Anyway it all fitted, just................. Even got round to sticking on my 'Lucky Race Number' on my back wheel, what could go wrong now?
Are there no Hire Van companies open tomorrow James? Maybe one of the Cheapie independents with older Vans?
How come you can't get hold of the bloke that's took it? Can't you ring ya Boss and get their number of him? I take it you made it clear you needed the Van this weekend for this long planned trip surely?

There just not answering the phone. It's got nothing to do the boss really. It's fight amongst yourselves sort of thing. I'll try and get hold of them tomorrow. If not I'll just ride down on the blade.
