    Gutted to say the least. Think we had a fighting chance once Rooney got the equaliser. Shame they lost momentum and let that big toothed twat score again.

    Well we got one more goal than I thought we would get.

    I remember 1966, a once in a lifetime experience probably, seeing England lifting the world cup.

    Cahill had a very good game.
    Wellbeck adds nothing to that England team.
    Henderson and Gerrard did little last night.
    Rooney would have scored the header if he hadn't shut his eyes being scared of headering the post.
    In saying that, after England got the goal I thought they would be the ones to score the winner.
    Alas a freak hoof up field turns into a key pass, and Hart looked a little suspect in his positioning.
    Forster would have saved either goal for Uraguay. ;)
