That's right folks, time for a what seems to be an age ago for a ride out on the Fireblade. Meeting Si at the Raven Cafe to leave around 09.30hrs. Fern View Prees Heath Whitchurch Shropshire SY132AF Then over to Rhug Estate Cafe to meet Tol at 10.00hrs Rhug Estate Corwen Denbighshire LL210EH From there planning on taking in a few of North Wales finest strips of tarmac including Bala Lake & Betws-S-Coed. Appreciate its short notice, but if Anyone is interested? Perhaps See you at one of the above points?
At least you lot don't work Saturdays.... Every sat, at least half a dozen bikes stop outside the shop, toot the horn and flick me the bird....knowing I'm grafting away while they play.
Oh Contrair! Us Air Con Boy's have to graft Saturdays too as it's the only day we can get to climb all over the Office Desks (when H&S aint lookin' ) to get to their AC units!
A grand day out. left home at 8am, met Gary at the Raven. Went through Ellesmere, Oswestry etc... but, New miles and miles of double whites on the A5 now... bugger. So sacked Bala off, and went to betsw-y-coed. Turned a right after a brew, and passed the lake and stopped for a pic or 2. My turn to get lost on the way back, as we didn't want to ride the A55, so peeled off.. took a turn, then a few more, came back on ourselves and stumbled on a new road that i've never been down before. quite a few miles of niceness... although the bike was skipping around due to VERY worn rear. oops. GaryB has come on loads since we both went out together (must be over a year ago mate!) and is now to be considered as one of the fast lads.. he's certainly jelled with the bike more, that was plain to see. Really chuffed for him, he's most definitely enjoying it more... A nice quick pace. Thought we where going to get a pull at one stage from the cops, but they sidled past after a few miles... Cheers Gaz, a grand day out mate!
Cheers Si. Very kind words. Being a mid week run I think we should just have had this ride out on Chat Mate what with all those all those poor workers As the man above said, great day. Spent most of it riding with Si & Tol & not taking pictures 'I did stay at the back though' Bit I did take a few with the phone just to prove I was actually there. The bike wondered what the hell was happening when it got rolled out the garage this morning. After meeting up with Si & Tol we head off with a word of warning from Barney that the black BMW & ZX10R Are stalking/patrolling the A5. Look, it's me Coffee and a catch up head off to wards Conway. Saw a HRC coming in the opposite direction. Quick stop here. Awsome stretch of road. Ha, I'm out of media. Great ride back 317 miles door to door, and back in time for a couple of Stella's before the kids come home from school. I'll see if I can find the roads we went missing out the A55. Keep with me though there was loads Thanks for having me
I was off today !!!!! Bit short notice so couldn't re arrange stuff in time ! Looks like you had a goodn thou
Sorry Andy. Not meaning to rub salt, but you missed a good run Sorry the short notice didn't help mate, I was just going to go out on my own around the northwest if I'm honest , but you know that Si & Tol, they sucked me in they did
Didn't know you where off dude.... bummer. Missed a good one though..... lovely weather, and 3 topless girls driving a Ferrari* * i made that bit up.
That awesome road you were talking about with the pics by the lake is part of my daily commute...... bummer
