Having looked on several websites for asv levers for my13 blade , using the drop downs to select model, year etc .the abs version isn't listed ?
Spoke to my local honda dealer who said there were problems with asv levers when the abs bikes came along, ie the levers weren't strong enough and would crack. He says he can get me some but they are a special order item which take 2 weeks to arrive from japan . Anybody heard anything about this or is it simply not true ?

    Cheers

Load of feckin Bollox that "They're not strong enough for the ABS models"

Laugh my FECKING ARSE off!

The hydraulic pressures exerted at the lever are less if anything over a non ABS bike as the ABS modulator absorbs any excess and only dishes out to the calipers what it see fit.

All that aside Pazzo's are far nicer that ASV's IMHO and is what I have on my ABS Blade and have had for 15 months!

It sounded a bit far fetched to me when he was telling me. Those look good on your bike. Take it you just get the lever and a bolt, or use existing bolt ? Asv are about £180 for the set , dunno how much pazzos are ? I'm looking at some silver levers, not the short ones just the long asv levers as I reckon they are slightly shorter than the original honda items

That's why I ask you guys on here as there's lots of knowledge and experience

Mmm mate at work bought some Chinese fancy foot pegs for his r1 track bike off fleebay . Looked good but going round Cadwell one snapped off. Resulting in a nearly foot under the wheel. Wouldn't trust stuff from china etc on fleebay

Good call but its something I would not have mentioned if I had not had them myself ..
It wouldn't surprise me if the Pazzos are the same manufacturer .

I have used the Chinese 'Pazzo' copies on my Track Bike and they were spot on and only £25 delivered!

Only swapped em as I fitted a Brembo MC complete with Lever so my OCD made me buy a Brembo Clutch Lever also!

    Spot the diff?

BS on needing stronger levers on an ABS!!!

Tried a few levers, ASV, Pazzo and Chinese copies and they will all do the job.

My favourite, the standard one that comes with the Brembo RCS, it just feels right and it's looks the business!
