Do you think Michelin tyres fitted to the truck was the cause? Only saying because Michelin man on the front mud guard looks like he's doing a runner. Seriously hope the rider got away from that one.

That looks weirdly funny, hope whoever was on the bike was ok, and got their bike replaced. Had a similar, much minor (thank god!) incident at a Halfords' car park a few weeks ago. I had my bike parked neatly in the middle of a space, and as I came out of the shop I see a white van reversing to wards my bike- turned out he wasn't reversing but PARKING! As I was still about 3 metres away from the van accelerating towards my bike I shouted at them- still, the guy wedged his rear bumper onto my rear wheel. Luckily no damage done. Next thing, he jumps out of the car and starts yelling at me- '..no need to shout at me, it was an accident, I didn't see it....blabla...stop making such a fuzz...' Honestly, I was gob smacked, no word of apology, but made me feel like how dare I hide my bike under his van! That's where I changed gears and went from a polite, but aggravated voice to the full brunt of my growing anger- he backed off (as he walked towards me his aggression faded I think he realised I was at least 4 inches taller and 5 stone heavier than him, and perhaps a few years older too lol) and started jotting down his details. He calmed down, apologised and his Mrs. told him to shake hands. As a few women walking past us said- lucky this wasn't a toddler standing behind him Conclusion- YOU DON'T GO WHERE YOU CANNOT SEE!
