Hi all, been looking at this forum since some time now without doing any writing, used to have a 2005 1000rr but now have a 12 hrc, must say loving the southern folks pics of (gods) country, hope yoos all enjoyed your north trip.
Hello mate and welcome aboard, some mighty fine folks on here I had a fantastic time in and around Fort William last week, helped by the great weather. I did see an hrc blade last Thursday on the a82 around Loch Lomand area, wasnt you by any chance? Tom.
Not me mate, haven't been anywhere since iom, glad you enjoyed your trip and the dreaded midge didn't send you home early, been working on the isle of sky since the last 8 months so maybe got away in time before they started biting lol
Welcome - I wish I'd put the Blade in this pic taken in April 2010, sure you know the exact spot! Ah - just found it with the bridge but rubbish perspective! Sorry about the Gixer polution in this one!
Hi all blade great past pics of the kylesku bridge(spelling?) had to laugh I remember an old fella that I once worked with was at the building of this bridge,(Lizzy) the queen opened it and drove over for first time in a rolls Royce,he said he would of taken her over in the back of his cortina!!! Great pics you've got there even with gixers
Not the best quality, but this is one from my trip last year. We were based in Fort William, can you guess where we were on this ride out?!
Love the rothmans colours,I thought about that livery for my 05 blade before going for hm plant, great point for pics where your bike is stopped going over the bealach,no the best road for a scooter virgin!!
Errm, no, coming from Fort Augustus I still know the northern bit of the A82 scarily well, even tho I live a bit further away these days. The second pic used to be a lot more recognisable when I lived up that way, I guess the trees having grown may have hidden the charms of Loch Gary, and its outline that is meant to lool like a map of Scotland ;-)
Last time I was at the overlook for loch Gary I thought to myself the trees are going to ruin the view and they have done now
