    I think you could make a massive difference with some elbow grease, the right gear and a bit of time but if you're spending £5k on detailing then you can obviously afford it. How much value would it put back on the car too? It's not like you're going to do it to your Ford Focus is it. Crazy money though!

    When I bought my Audi I spent an extra 300 quid on diamond brite polish, the polished the car up and applied a special polish and it was amazing! I would run the Car through the car wash and would look professionally polished every time, always had comments on how good it looked!

    cheaper than buying a new car I guess :eek: but still £5k for a car wash is bloody expensive [​IMG]

    5K is bonkers as is wax that costs 2K most I've spent is £170 as the saying goes a fool is easily parted from his money.

    with the amount of detailing and wax I would hope the bird poo melted before it got to the paint :)

    and I've seen detaling costing upwards of 7k some people have bought

    Five fooking grand, don't think my car is worth that even if I threw in the blade to sweeten the deal. I'm however willing to pay someone a fiver to clean my bike for me. Or should I just post pics until an OCD victim cracks and does it for free lol
