I'm overwhelmed. You guys are all heart. Which is good... ...if you could all pm me your blood type, I might have a use for one of you in in a few weeks time. But seriously, all is on the up. I got pole axed last week by what I have been treating as bad indigestion for the last couple of months, off the back of being extremely busy for an idle sod like me. I thought I had some sexy scanning equipment until I got fed from one end to the other of the Royal Devon & Exeter hospital's medical imaging dept. Turns out I have something quite mundane. A gall bladder stuffed with stones. Would never have known anything about it, but it became infected which spread to my liver, which decided to take some time off. So, two kinds of antibiotics, no fatty food, no alcohol and when things settle down, under the knife. The only real victim is my ticket for Goodwood tomorrow. That really hurts.

It's just a pothole, Gray, mate. I've long since learned to wind my neck in over tiny bubos after I see what some people have to put up with.

I'm a bit emotional at the moment. My boss is so concerned for when I have to have the operation that he's invested in an IP phone that I can plug in at home so that it rings when anyone calls the office... I bet it takes it out of my wages too... I'm fair filling up with compassion...
I did say I doubt whether the sound of the ring would travel from the the boot of the car, through the garage wall, across the garden and through the walls of the house, but...
