Great day out at Knockhill for the BSB.. met a few lads from the forum (RC 8 Man - Andy, MadG - Garry). Saw Zanshin's repsol (so I was not the only blade) parked outside the Ducati VIP tent.. my carbon beast got more attention than the Ducs! great crack, and my first BSB! will def be back next year Pic of today (Me at the front, RC 8 Man Andy, DannyBhoy Danny back right, Paul Davies left)
I spied Andy's RSV4 and the Repsol outside the Ducati tent And I did hovered there for a few mins hoping to see somebody before hobbling round to Club MCE tent
I'm sure he does.. I did, was just a little slow next to the blade though Never mind, the sound of that exhaust made up for the lack of pace haha
Was a great day..... I saw you guys hanging around and if I'd know you were all from the forum I'd have introduced myself. Also saw your carbon beast... there was a group of folk gathered round giving it the once over ;-)..... it was parked next to another HRC blade that looked like it had taken a little recent damage.... not to costly I hope ..... and another '08 blade parked down the line a little further.... Honda well represented at the Ducati hospitality this year then. I left just after the second BSB race...... bike was so caked in dust by that time I had to hose it down before putting it away All's well I'll be back in the same place again next year... hope to see some of you then
aye shame.. ah well, plenty of time for a catch up in the coming summer sunshine I was nervous leaving the bike parked where I did, there was a crowd around it almost all afternoon.. The SP next to mine is Danny's.. he dropped it after his ABS failed on him in France recently I left the same time.. Bike was washed and polished for 2hrs yesterday only for 30 seconds of Knockhill roads to turn it into a mud cake! Saw someone had written in the dust a message on your seat!
Yep had to move for you guys leaving the Ducati VIP on huge way back to the bikes after the second race. Noisy buggers. We were parked right down at the back near that horrible busa with the mingin paint job. Looked like grass. Anyway, we even managed on tv as we were on the grid next to Stuart Easton when he was interviewed by Jamie Whitham. And Haydon, I suspect doing his ITV4 bit caught us as well. Had a great day, and sorry for not saying hello yesterday Trev.
