I watched 2nd hand ones going for more needing a service and re spring over here so I would say a great price

well its a little bit of a sad day the CBR 1000 was sold today , i am moving the girls back to europe and will be flying in and out for work 20 days on 10 off so no time to ride it and i would have had to create it up and ship back to Europe better that i sold it over here and look at getting a new track bike once i am all set up back in Europe . i am thinking maybe try and find a good 500 GP bike and do some of the classic meeting around Europe . bye bye CBR also sold my KTM 350 Caroli replica last weekend here in indonesia but already ordered a new TM mx300 motocross bike , it will go straight to spain and be waiting bye bye KTM Hello new TM
Changed my oil.. Swapped out sprocket carrier rubbers and tightened head bearings. Can't wait to test her out again
I've just realised I've owned 2 blades and never ridden either on standard cans !! I'm going to be a traveling steward on a charity midnight walk for a local hospice so I thought I'd better swap to a standard can as the Racefit might be a bit LOUD !!! Well what can I say , other than 'wow' how good are blades I could feel the torque usually it's all about the noise for me...... But it looks like the Firebloke might have a point about stealth mode OMG looks like I might be getting OLD !!!!!
Just about to upgrade the forks on the SP1. Last time out after not riding the bike for nearly 9 months I noticed 1 of the fork seals was leaking, and seeing as I had all the kit there waiting there I thought I'd just be better biting the bullet and changing the Springs again to K-Techs, and fitting the piston kit.
Are you DIY'ing this job as I really should brush up on the inner working on front forks, i'd save a fortune.
This was the third time we had been in upgrading forks on our bikes, the fork seal guide thread I made was using Colin's blade but what we didn't show in that thread was the extra work on top of the springs n oil/dust seals which was pulling the cartridge apart and swapping the OEM shims/pistons for ohlins components! So with that said yes we did the work ourselves and didn't take any of the bikes to anybody else to carry out any work.
Altered the angle of the bars to closer in by cutting off the locating dowels, got them in as far as the turn stops allow. Made for a more natural forearm/wrist position and more comfy. Also dropped the triple tree down the forks by 5mm to steepen the trail and give a quicker turn in. It feels much sharper now, very similar to how my Suzuki 600 turns. Happy with the changes now I've ridden it
After 2 sets of EBCs and one SBS went back to Honda OEM front Pads on my ABS. OMG!! OEM are just brutal, the ABS ECU must be optimised for these mofos. No B.S, after bedding these in I could brake so hard my mirrors folded forwards!!* * OK must admit my mirrors are looser than the Mrs**, also cleaned the rotors anD performed quick bleed (only conventional lines) but even though a very noticeable improvement!! ** Mrs if you're reading love you loads!!
A small amount more but the pump sits right at the bottom so use more fuel before running dry. It had the HRC fuel pump kit fitted too as most of it was welded onto the tank.
