Martin, when you say 'theirs' do you mean ours or DT'S?

Guys, just talked to both Nigel and Chris and have ordered a stand. Couldnt live with the DT one anymore as I simply dont trust it - even after changing the wheels and drilling a hole through the top pin. Should have it in a few days so will give everyone my thoughts on the lift. BTW, i know these guys have had a tough time for various reasons on the forum in the past (whether deserved or not) they were great to deal with, keeping my fingers crossed that the stand lives up to the talk

Sorry, but are we miss understanding each other or am I just being thick?

From your reply I understood that if there's after market rearsets on you can supply a different kit that cators for this. So this kit replaces the standard rearset option?

Or that the kit supplied will be fine with both?

I'm trying to understand the ability to overcome the shift rod issue I've seen with another similar product and how versatile the JAC stand is, so I can use it not just on blades with differing rearsets but also different bikes.

Thanks, do appreciate you taking time to answer what could be perceived as dumb arse questions.

Can you remove the swingarm using one of these stands?

I'm not sure if the bottom pin actually goes through the swing arm mounting bolt, best ask somebody with more expertise . I only put the juice in and Cain her !

It's not going well.. Because of the Gilles rear sets, I'm damned if I can get it to a position to lift the front wheel.. :(

Gilsey before tightening everything up wind in the nut on the end of the long bolt that sits in the top corner of the fitting plate, once wound in as far as it goes tighten your big bolt up
(Do the little but up with the pins inserted in the bike)

Thought I read somewhere that with rear sets Chris or nigel would supply a different fitting plate. Don't despair they are good blokes and will look after you !
