Thread insert M8 to m6 help finding

    Hi,

    Anyone know where I can get these in the UK please only found in Europe so far...

    Want to go from M8 to M6 only need 1

    Would it not be easier to get a new bolt made to fit the requirement that you are asking?
    What is it for?

    No. It's for a rear mastercylinder push rod that uses M6 thread to go into a Gilles tooling brake cylinder adaptor that accepts M8, so need to reduce the adaptor down to M6 to accept the rod.

    Get an m8 bolt cut the head off an drill and tap the threaded bit

    Still easier to make a new rod mate. One end M8 the other M6. I can do that for you, does it have left handed threads though?

    But I was just about to suggest might be better looking at the adaptor, didn't realise they were called clevis joint, that's spot on mate should be just what I am after! Thanks for the link!
