So as a (and I quote) "Representative of Grantham Honda", does that mean that we can all come to you with our problems? So what do you plan to do about faulty RR5 rectifiers, oil burning '08 models and ABS issues???
Following a meeting with Dave Hancock (Google him Gary) I can answer the oil and abs issue, as for the rectifier try eBay ;-) To be fair I've been nothing but a problem to Grantham honda so I'm not quite sure where that comes from, their decent blokes though.
We went to the pit garage just after Jonny slid his bike down the road during qually he asked me what it looked like a new fairing and exhaust was needed to improve his bike that day.
I have spoken to Dave with regards to the braking issues on my SP, I would love to hear what he said to you.
It sounds a bit corny but we were asked not to discuss what happened inside the meeting room with the press or open forums, I took a couple of pictures of the wall mounted topic for discussion and I was politely asked to delete the pics. I'm quite sure that should I ignore their request there not a great deal they could do, however, I was honoured to be part of the focus group and its not often you get to meet the Fireblade head of design.
Pretty good, its always a bus when you get in a mag. I had an article published in the TR magazine when I restored my TR7 a few years ago and I won a set of tyres for the BIKE mag letter of the month.
It's the Vertu in-house magazine, Vertu is the over-arching company that own loads of Honda car and bike dealers in the uk and some others like Bristol Street Motors and a few Vauxhall dealers. If you pop into a honda car dealership or Grantham honda they should be able to get you a copy.
