Now over the last few weeks we've had some colourful banter about cbr1000rr and s1000rr......that's the dreaded BMW one Well I found this a few mins ago......and thought it could be the final word on the matter And still owing both no im not biased !!!!!!!!!! WARNING its a light hearted comparison and must not be taken seriously.....
Firstly, I must state I have absolutely no interest in the debate of BMW v Blade or indeed any other comparison. I was, however, many years ago trained to audit and measure performance across a range of different subjects. The test shown IMO has very little credibility and certainly does not appear to have hardly any construct validity. If one was to try to accurately make a comparison the performance indicators would need to be far more intensive than those listed ie Design Sound Power Consumption Price Power and consumption figures may be objective, but would need to be verified. Design and sound are however subjective. Price, well quite a few people may not really consider this aspect as being too important, what is expensive to some of us is peanuts to others. I assume the testers considered the following to be irrelevant: Build quality Reliability. Re-sale values and rate of depreciation. Maintenance periods and costs. Track use. Service intervals and costs Road use. Versatility the list goes on and on.........just like my post
Not sure why you thought I had taken it to heart mate it's only an internet forum it's not real life but I will post what I like to post anyway
As I've got older I sometimes prefer to watch telly than ride my Blade, but it doesn't mean the programes I watch are any good
Hey remember when Booby Ewing returned to Dallas after being killed off in the previous series ?? (the previous series had been nothing but a dream !!) hope I don't wake to find I don't own naff all....... or even own a laptop !!
not watched it as don't have speakers on my pc at work, but then again I don't need too. the answer is obvious, whatever bike won this years TT (senior/sbike) is without a shadow of a doubt the bestest bike ever made.EVER!!!!! well either that or it had the best rider on it
Best bike is one that did the fastest lap ever at the TT clearly Winning is down to the most consistent rider
nah they are no comparison matt as they have no real bearing on a production bike, superstock is where you want to look.......oh bollox
Oh Contrair my dear Rodney! The fastest lap of the TT is mostly down to which rider has the Biggest Balls on a Road Circuit. Most TT lads aint 'all that' on short circuit races. The best bike IMHO is the one that is leading both BSB and WSB Championships at present.................................. Team Green!
