Had a shite day yesterday thanks to a crappy courier and an even crappier, but unrelated, ebay seller, but it got better when I got home and found some David Silvers packages waiting for me. I had order a few bits including a new rubber for the bar weight as when I removed my damaged bar end I noticed the old one was split. Rapidly opened the packaging to see a new rubber, took it out the package and it was also split! In that instance I realised that the split was clean and that it was obviously meant to be . So glad the pictures of it are clear on the fiche lol, still it did make me laugh. It's item 18 on this pic, and the moral of the story is...... well buggered if I know what the moral is
Part 15 & 18? I wish i knew it was an issue for you as i removed mine for cleaning last week as they were spinning round in the bars. And guess what, they're split too
I had to remove the whole weight for the same reason, Wish they would show the split in the diagram or part description. Still at least I have a spare now
