A friend sent me this and said he got it from Yamaha, he works for them but the more i look at it the more i think he's pulling my leg??? Ive been trying to phone him but he's not answering, probably having a big laugh It just looks to big???

I had the R1 serviced on Saturday and while there asked about trade in prices against brand new GSXR / ZX10 Bike is less than 2 years old so under Yam warranty with 5k on clock and came in at £6,500 To be fair a brand new GSXR1000 is £9k, new R1 was £10k and zx10 (2013 colours) was £10.5 so perhaps not a surprise, but kick in the teeth if you did not get a good deal like I did Makes cost to change to a new one very expensive! The engine bolts etc. certainly look identical to my R1 The MT-09 at £7k looks an absolute bargain - would like a shot on one, the matt black looked awesome
I think all the jap factories could still be playing catch up to BMW if they put the electronic suspension mods on the standard S1000
