This is the modern way to get your admin team to put in the extra effort when deadlines are challenging…and my tempers getting frayed. A fed team is a happy team. Years ago I used to have my weekly team meeting on a Friday morning at a local Bacon Butty Bar. For some reason everyone used to attend People really appreciate things like that, shows the Boss has a human side.
In other news, my boss has just had me on my knees in the rain, rodding out a drain because the stupid building he's just moved us to is at the bottom of a hill with no soakaways... Apparently, it's not a problem though... So once you sort the walking on water thing David, I might need a piggy back...
15 quids worth of grub goes a long way! Something I miss working from home 99% of the time.. Well when I say working from home I mean playing with bikes in the garage when I should be working!
Sometimes I speed read without thinking, my brain picking out key words to get the overall gist of a document, sometimes it can be very handy.....but at other times it’s not such a blessing.
