Fitted tank cover and mudguard. Removed nose cone to fit some spring clips that were missing, but things are wrong size so not sure what to do at the moment. Still whilst I have the lights out I can hopefully do something to sort the indicators. Hopefully the heatshield turns up tomorrow.

I have a Garmin Zumo 590LM with traffic and weather live, it's a pricey sat have but has winding roads and many other motorcycle related features, tbh no matter how well you know your way around its a great bit of kit to enjoy roads you've not been down etc, also have scala headset for audio etc.

    .

Arthur, how do you ever find time to just get out on the bike and go for even a 'bimble'? Do you ever sleep?

    Nick.

Just checked out the Garmin Zumo 590LM. Expensive? Yes, but the tyre pressure monitor makes it a very tempting proposition.

Not really something i've done to the bike, although it will be mainly used for the bike, but I bought a Sealey tyre changer to replace my home made kit.

Thought i'd test it out on the missus wheel as her rear tyre needed replacing and I had a spare. I still used my £60 bar though as I didn't want to mark her 18"alloy, although I don't rate the bead breaker as it has a chiselled end and cuts chunks out of the side wall, but luckily I have my Abba bead breaker and may also grind the Sealey one to a flat head to protect the tyre.

;) Got them too, they used to only read in BAR but the new firmware now shows PSI, happy days...lol and no, not much sleep :D

Some cool things like, TPMS (as you say), USB socket for phone charging, Live weather and traffic (shown on map) + Speed cams too but all lifetime £15ish subs (needs 3g phone), winding roads, whats up a head i.e food, petrol etc, VERY clear screen in daylight, water resistant unlike car navs, full phone interaction txt, calls and more, plus a bag more stuff too :)

Hopefully temporary while a new storage unit is being built, then I can clear my garage as the tyre changer is blocking the bike and we can't have that ;)

I've bolted down the 2 opposing corners to make it easier to move out of the way when I'm done, but it's stable enough for now.

You can fill me in on your tips at the forum track day if you're going?
