I always think the Repsol Boys look quite smart riding their Repsol Blades wearing Repsol Leathers. I've been wearing a black & white RST textile 2 piece suit for the last couple of years but since buying my white/red/blue HRC Blade last year I've been looking for a set of 2 piece matching leathers. These have just arrived from fleabay To compliment this Happy days!
Been waiting for ages for something like this to appear on fleabay and now they are mine...not bad for 200 beer tokens.
200 is really good. I've just sold a Dianese Trickster 2 piece for £361. I got it from fleabay too (for the same price strangely) but I'm just a bit too tall for it and the jacket is cut super short to wear on it's own. I went for them for the same reason you did a bit of red and white in the suit to go with my HRC colour bike. Just got myself an Alpinestars 2 pice and it fits v well. Good gear! Dainese Trickster 2 piece racing leathers, hump, titanium size 54 £899 new | eBay
The jacket on this suit is super short and it wants to pull the trousers up higher but they can't because my balls are in the way. Its a snug fit.
Same leathers as mine! I have matching gloves too Bought them when I had my old 929, unfortunately they have that authentic "crashed in" look now
My kids thought it was hilarious when I had matching leathers on my HRC..said I was the red power ranger... Now succumbed to all black
Correct mate. Found my immaculate 'two piece' on ebay £200.00. Matches my HRC 'blade perfectly I think. TBH, I don't care if I look like an explosion in a paint factory or get accused of being a 'Power Ranger' 'cos riding my 'blade is a real 'event' and I like to dress for the occasion. Nick.
I personally am not a fan of matching leathers. mainly if you change your bike you look daft on a different colour bike, just my view So I normally keep to White and black as per my BKS leathers or similar colours. looked good on my Speed triple and again on my blade
Years ago when i was single and money was good i got a set of crowtrees made up to match my gsxr . i felt great when i got them white and two blues with some bright orange thrown in to match the wheels (it was the 90s) . Went for a ride to the pub to meet the lads and first powerranger comment arrived in about two mins . Its been plain black leathers and bikes ever since. They were great leathers though.
. Oh I don't know; for a start you can always sell them on. I'm pretty sure I'd get what I paid for mine. That's pre-supposing I will ever sell my beautiful 'blade of course. Or..... just add another bike to your collection and buy another set of leathers to match. Mind you, if I ever did replace my bike (perish the thought ) the only bike I would even consider would be a VFR1200 DCT ( thinking about getting one for the winter anyway) and the first thing I'd do would be to have it re-painted in HRC colours to match my leathers. Problem solved!
