RAPMSL....... I had a business meeting in Hull earlier in the year, so I can believe it......I was shaking my head side to side so hard all the way to the A1 south that I was in fear of repetitive strain injury to my neck. If you open a button box up there, the is no fear of getting blinded that’s for sure. I am generalising of course and no offence meant to our East Lincolnshire and Yorkshire members.

Can I just say that us Lincolnites split from Grimsby years ago and gave them their own post code, so they are nothing to do with us. They are in the DN post code with is Doncaster, South Yorkshire We even gave their neighbouring Hull their own county 'cos a bloody great estuary wasn't enough to separate us
Lincoln isn't so bad. Had lads from work calling me a southerner, I said f**k off I'm a West Country boy, they said f@@k off it's south of Sheffield, but quickly shut up when I pointed out that Sheffield was farther south than where I live now, and so by their logic they were southerners As for Grimsby, went there once and haven't been back. Some nice people from there though, really good at working out imperial measurements on their hands
Grimsby has died with the fishing its a sad place now . I grew up 30 miles down the road in a village called Legbourne. The cod heads are a special bunch for sure. All i will say about Lincolnshire is Cadwell park . And lucky for me it is only 4 miles from my parents place, when the wind blows in the right direction you can hear the gearchanges as the bikes wind it up down park straight.
