He's just tried the 'if you plug it in at home, you'll never have to pay for a phone call again', bit... Scant comfort for being on call 24/7, especially as most of my clients couldn't find their arse with both hands and a bloodhound.
You know what Steve, you're right. I should just wind my neck in and be thankful. I wish I had a boss like you looking out for me.
Another attack of the deadly gall stones. A proper bastard this time. They thought it best to screen for heart attack. It wasn't.....
Glad it's nothing too serious.....not like gallstones aren't serious enough but you know what I mean. Hope you're feeling better soon, Ken.
Hope your better soon Ken, besides you have to have a heart for an attack lol Take care mate.. Soon be on a Harley
Elaine's mum had a similar situation with The Gall Stones and the pain was that strong the Ambulance crew also tested for Heart failure .....very painful you have my sympathy .
J thought it was a heart attack, paramedic thought it was a heart attack, consultant at A&E thought it was a heart attack. Funnily enough, it only crossed my mind the once, when I couldn't catch my breath, then the 'that only happens to other people' response kicked in and I kept trying to tell people it was only gallstones. Right up to when the morphine kicked in. Then I couldn't give a fcuk that nobody was was listening to me any more.
2 to 3 months mate, then they're cutting the fecker out. Then back to the pies. Mind you I've lost the best part of a stone since it kicked off. By Xmas I'll have lost a hole bag full of 'em.
