Your not so far from Dynojet uk Matt (fw devolopments) it's in garstang. Check on there website mate. If they don't have a map for your bike plus setup I.e model year, filter, system etc etcetera ring them and they will custom map yours for free sbd keep a copy of it for there map Libary. I've 4 bikes in their Libary. Best boys around And didn't cost a bean
jesus your lucky then,i used to get discount through a couple of friends (as in VAT free),and they are good, but not the cheapest, looking around 180 for a full map. it's not the normal place you'd expect a set up like franks is it?
If you ring uk bri and speak to franks wife on reception and explain they will sort it..trick is to find a can for a bike that they don't have map for and you'll get a free en. Always worth checking the Dynojet website first and looking at the map Libarys.. Richard and Simon do the maps.. Everytime they have done mine the line across the air/fuel mixture looks like it's been drawn with a ruler It's a lovely place scooby.. Outta the way in beautiful surroundings.. Not a bad place to sit and sup compi nether coffees whilst the works getting done . I'll be taking mine up over winter as the previous owner said it hadn't been remapped since the engine and gearbox refresh end of may Who do you use scoobs?
my blade was mapped there by Richard, graham did the engine work and through his magic we got 182hp out of it,without a heavy tune (skimmed block, thinner head gasket, slotted cams so we could advance the timing).G does a lot of work for them aswell,in fact my other 07 blade was mapped there aswell ,just a shade over 190 with another of G's special engines, unfortunatly it didn't last too long . used jct33 in the past, and chris at dynopro in Runcorn, but that was for my carb'd bike as he's a bit of a whizz with them.
I use hammer and tongue mention me to John they all know me there they did my dyno the other week john good lad knows his stuff .
I'd keep ya Gob shut Matt about knowing Jase! They'll assume ya loaded like him and charge ya top dollar! Just arrive as you dress normally and they'll do U a good deal outa pity!
Took the baffle out today, what a job that was i loosened the screw and then had to use tweezers to get the nut off Anyway it definitely needs the PC as its hunting like mad and boy is it noisy, it will be baffle in for Oulton me thinks....
so what did they say when you asked if it needed a pc? also, you booked on oulton or just turning up and hoping for a spot? be nice to see you in fast with us all
Or they will charge you double as I never give them much notice in jobs I want doing they still have my blade engine there waiting on me to get them a part.
At the hop where i bought it from they said it wouldn't need a PC but i have since realised that they are full of ssshhugar. I will just turn up and find a spot in the intermediates, not quick enough for fast quite yet especially as i haven't ever done full day at Oulton, just three sessions in the novice...
