Well tomorrow will prob be our last ride out... She has been an amazing bike, 2 Scotland tours, 3 euro tours, 47k on the clock and 27000 happy miles by me in three years. Well and a few on track by Dave.... Really going to miss this bike, she's old, but can still dance with the youngen's.... Never missed a beat and always had me smiling but it's soon time for her to be put out to graze on track with Dave v. Treated her to her first clean (well threw a bucket over her in the dark) since Spain and despite a hard life, she still scrubs up well
Ain't Dave a lucky boy. Shes Served you well, but at least with this break up, you'll still get to see her
Feel your pain mate, I used to own something I loved to ride hard. She too ended up getting ragged by a so called mate But atleast I got to keep the house
The first proper ride out I did with the forum I think I saw more of the belly pan of this bike in my mirrors than I did of the rest of it. This is when we stopped and I decided to have a look at the rest of it
At least you got to see it in the mirrors, I spent the day watching the rear disapear into the distance!
3 inc the r1. The gsxr is my bro in laws. I have the r1... Blade race bike and a vfr400. Was a good day out today, nice and quiet early doors to give her a worthy send off
I think the R1 is a great bike. I was so tempted to get another one before I got my second Blade. She has served you well by the sounds of it.
Awesome IMO. And for that year ahead of the blade if I dare say so lol... For the money I've paid and mileage I've done, by far the best value for money I've spent on a bike....
If the new R1 lives up to the hype I could even be tempted to say goodbye to my very much loved Blade.........I can't believe I just said that out loud
Thanks Mart. I've already picked up a set of fairings and wheels. Decal kit has also arrived. Thanks Jimbo, you know she will be looked after. Besides, I'll be amazed if you won't be ragging her around a track at some point.
