Diesel Fireblade

    Went for a ride out and on the way back pulled into a Shell garage and put in £10 of diesel.FUCK!! I said.A mate didn't clock on to what I did either on the other pump.It's habit I'm afraid with a diesel car for the last 12 yrs:rolleyes:
    So we pushed it out of the garage away from prying eyes and saving me the embarrassment of ringing the AA.
    We used our phones for light and took the tank off ,good job I know how it comes off or otherwise the AA would have shafted me.I disposed of it where it would do no harm in a mates trusty old transit who turned up in case I needed it transported back.Filled it to the brim and rode home;)

    Tiny bit of cat weasel won't hurt it with a full tank of clean petrol just use half tank and re fill if you go low low it might pick up the diesel but should dilute enough

    Thanks Wedge but wasn't going to chance it.For the sake of a tenner and a bit of fiddling I'm home with a healthy engine.

    I feel for you !

    Same happened to me last year!
    After a sunny day with my blade I wasn't paying attention at the shell gas station.
    So, I had to call the AA and they charged me about 100 GBP.....
