Lol I will.. Most probably be a crisp November morning Mines got a slight skimmed head and kit head gasket so it will of raised compression.. It will be interesting to see
Cheers Daz but there not getting of the hook that easy as the k tec spring was cheaper for them than the ohlins one and that's the only reason they were trying to get me to agree to the k tec spring.
sound like a right bunch of cowboys, makes me realise how lucky I am to have made some very good contacts over the years, that way you get to keep clear of shit box operations like these. as fr daz'z blade,i'd be very surprised if it didn't kick the arse of that kwaker might take the beemer up for a power run when you go daz, just to see, dont have a dyno printout for mine as it stands
It's a date.. We could go for coffee and cake after if you like.. Wen are you free scooby? Barton grange garden centre in garstang does the biggest and best coffee remours I've ever had Least torque gets em in ha
not a fan of coffee Renoir (I assume that's what you meant haha) myself, cant beat a nice piece of carrot cake, but I can supply that as we make the best going wont be till October though.
Nice try Daz! Not many Bikes will 'Out Torque' a standard Blade as well Mr Scoobs knows, hence the quick shift to BHP!
Lol I'll bring my wallet then .. Defo arrange it for October then mate...I'll see if matts coming.. Be good to get all the bikes on the same dyno with the same air temp and humidity. All great bikes in their own right..
Daz do you have a working link to the place that you will be taking your bike to??? I might just visit hammer and fuckin tongs with my hammer. If i take my bike else where and they tell me hammer and tongs didn't do a very good job then i will be expecting to be compensated.......
Haha.... Can't teach an old dog new tricks...didn't think it would work lol Got a great link to one of my fairly stand blades on the dyno https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_Nbm-9Mh618 Tt at was mapped at the rocket centre by my pal Ben Rea.. He now runs his own shop doing all sorts of bikes.. Race prep is a specialty of his.. He does the roads. He won the new comers c race .last year at the Manx and finished 5th this year in the super twin on the cms kawasaki.. A good lad and worth a shout for anything you may need
only problem with that matt is that FWd are the UK agent for dynojet,so mightnot be too willing to slate a company that they have sold equipment to,but on the other hand,if they aren't able to use the equipment properly who knows. for all we knkow anyway, your bike could be spot on,like I said the actuall line on the graph looks fine, just stops a little short at the top, about 20bhp short
i know Ben And nige well Daz,in fact might be popping over tomorrow to see what tyres they have left frm the manx.
you don't seem happy mate seem a bit deflated.. Bike will be right mate just needs running in etc.. Most bikes being prepped for racing do a steady 5 or 600 miles on the dyno before any things fitted etc.. Power will come as it loosens up.. It's still a brand new bike settling down and doesn't seem slow or down on power mate.. You've a cracking machine there that will tick all the boxes for you I'm sure.. Hope you enjoy it mate
They have some Dunlops in I know that.. Nige has been trying to sell them me lol.. One of my best pals is nige. Great bloke..do you need any wets? I,have some that are as new but I'm on 16.5 now ha so may struggle sealing the bead ha
mm quite possibly as a drying session at oulton made a bit of a mess of mine.will see what he has,and let you know.
