Lets hope so!! Otherwise your gunna need a hole lot more skilz to catch up with the big boys ha ha On a serious note - fcuk numbers, it's all about the curve and as you say will improve as the engine beds in. Maybe maxing it out and td's ain't the best running in for it?? Totally irrelevant but me and my pal got matching 50's at 16, I run mine in through fear of pounding from angry dad, he didn't, mine done 10mph more after run in...... Just saying like
Got my eyes out for some 17inch wheels but they are rare for the blade.. There's supposed to be tyre back up for at least 3 years off Pirelli for 16.5s so shouldn't be so bad.. Got a great contact who works in bsb who looks after me. 16.5 are supposed to be awesome to ride on and I've fantastic edge grip.. I'm still waiting to pop my cherry on them
actually Matt, how many miles did they actually do on the dyno? that would be a good indicater as to how much work they did.
to be honest, thatwas true 5 or 6 yrs ago,but with the weay tyres have come on in last few yrs theres not a lot in it,only major upside these days are they have less unsprung weight,so are easier to turn (at speed) and i guess spin up quicker.
They probably couldn't be arsed to Tune yours so left your bike in the Car Park and gave U some print outs from some other Smuks run from earlier in the year!
Sounds about right mate although it pops at the exhaust now which is kind of cool, although i don't know if its supposed to do that....
Ok scooby, I've been onto them today and asked them to send all maps including torque, here are their comments and the maps, he did say that some of the lines jump at the end but that has nothing to do with my bike its the dyno so ignore Good afternoon Matt Here are a copy of the graphs with ignition values. 1st image gives engine speed, fuel ratio, power and torque but does not show through to top engine speed due to interference, the others show full rpm but do however show the interference values. Kind regards Jon and the team at H&T 01925 444 603
Bollocks, when i try and drop the charts into iPhoto they say they can't read in current format whatever the fuck that means....
Done it mate, had to take a screen shot and then move it to iPhoto, cheers Jay now what do all these squiggly lines mean?????
that torque figure is higher than blades aint it? thats better Matt, you've gained a big jump in the torque figure, which tbh will help you more than top end power imo.
