It was going to be my retirement restoration project at 55...

    Then 57..

    Then 60

    Then 65

    Now who knows...

Just delivered the Blade to its temporary home for the rest of the year. Work on the new garage begins on Wednesday. I feel a build thread coming on...

This one was 50 hp (pre listing bhp), the frame, I believe is made of chewing gum. It's considerably smaller than the blade, but considerably heavier. The single, tiny front disc means you need a calendar rather than a stopwatch to calculate braking distances, but is backed up by a cable operated drum on the back.

I loved it, and hopefully, one day, will again.

The Blade is safe in its blankie at my sister's house. At least, I hope it is, my BIL has just passed his CBT and he was looking at it in a funny way when I left him on Sunday...

The 550f is wrapped in tarps in a shady spot of the garden and everything else has been stashed for the duration.

I came home from work today to see the next stage has begun.

Roof's gone, door's cut up, what's going to be left when I get home tomorrow?

And, Scooby, I'm already wondering whether it'll be big enough, but once I've floor the loft in it out I'll free up so much storage elsewhere, it'll more than make up for it. It'll be my 'heavy metal' workshop so my 10' x 8' existing workshop can go back to being a woodworking one.
