General price required...

    2009 rr8....... 7000 miles described as A1...... full service history fitted with scorpion end can and some Gilles rear sets.....

    Any ideas of guide prices plz...... (I guess in the £5k region) myself :confused:

    Seen a few for over 6k and a 10plate similar miles for 7.5k. Around 5k would be a good buy price IMO

    its a rr8..... possible oil burner ?? but my track bike also is the same not real issues with oil ??

    I don't think the oil burning issue is that common or that big an issue really. Mine stopped using oil when I fitted some sealant to stator casing that hadn't had any fitted previously.

    Go for it ;)

    Agree it would be a good buy with that mileage at £5k. Wouldn't pay over £5500. I had an RR8 and it was fine - only used a small amount of oil (no more than any other bike).

    gone in at a tadge higher due to the gilles almost new rear sets and pipe..... but will be selling off all bodywork / pipe etc (immaculate all black) as have got plans for modding her....

    I can only say that Denzil bought his new shape 12 plate HRC with 3.5k 6 months ago for 7,100. So I would not be going much more than 5k if it was me

    I agree around the 5k mark for the bike is about right.......a couple of hundred will be the difference as a gut feeling for good condition of some additions such as sets and can....

    Mileage (can it be proved 100%) ?? is also quiet low so that's a factor......full history MOTs etc will help......

    You can check MOT history (mileage) on line. https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history-vehicle I think you need the doc ref from the V5 though.

    When buying my ex a car we used MOT mileage found most golf's in London to have had their mileage tampered with! Good method for indicator

    If you do buy the bike and SPS doesn't take the fairings off you I would defo be interested in buying them.

    If bike has had main dealer service is it possible to get that checked by dealer in question ??
