Last year I sailed on my own and met up with you all as you know it was that relaxed when I was docking in Spain another biker asked me was I going north or South I really had no Idea and guessed south , then realised I had no map and I didn't manage to download my Sat Nav app on to my phone so had to ring The lads to ask which way was I supposed to be heading as it was a couple of hours away if I remember right which was fun as it was pissing down So unlike me but the kind of holiday I needed hopefully this year the same but no chance of getting lost as I am sailing with the lads .
Well I guess today's the day we start the ball rolling. A few tense last minutes in the camp but everything seems to be sorted and on course. Steve, Craig & myself are kicking it off this evening where we will be joined by Will who is coming to wave us off. Tomorrow morning steve is picking Jase up on the way down. Gill has just forced me to put my gear in the van to stop me from opening and closing every time I walk past it. "But I know I've forgotten something" Looking forward to the drive down, Will has done an amazing job sorting a van for our bikes and the trip down and it being a ford transit custom it comes with all the bells and whistles. So that's it for now. Just waiting for the late afternoon when I pick Craig up. Full report on our return
gary you can not beat checking a couple of times just like me just checked all my paper work and I did not have me bike insurance I put the letter in saying thanks for choosing us my certificate was on me desk at work so now back on schedule was going to roll the red carpet out for your arrival but its pissing down
Thought I passed the "4 Amigo's" near Sort this afternoon but not sure, a bmw1K, Blade in red white blue and two others with yellow plates. We all waved etc but with closing speeds of well over 100mph it was over in a flash...
Well, I guess that's another one over for a another year. Finally arrived home at 01.40hrs after a bit of a nightmare journey home, thunder storms flooded motorways and the old Esential we've had to close two lanes or the entire motorway for safety reasons. Was a blast. Keep with me for around about a year and I'll try and offer up some kind of review....
Was enjoying a nice curry and a few pints near Plymouth last night, weather was just about fine today and the wets stayed in the bag.
