Hi does anyone know of anyone in the uk that does transmission undercutting or anyone that has a Nova Racing transmission going cheap
A company called xtrac in Thatcham berkshire might be able to do it, they make a lot of F1 gearbox stuff as we supply them with carbide profile tools for cutting gear profiles

haha,now theres something you'll never see.@ £3200ish you'll never find a cheap nova box,be better to buy a bike with 1 already in.my m8 has just bought a spare engine for his blade and is having a nova box fitted to that aswell (his main engine has 1 already). you'll have more chance of finding a HRC box,just need to keep your eyes open on forums/ebay,but they are never cheap due to the fact that blade boxes are made of cheese,and not a super hard parmesan style cheese,more an over ripe brie!!!! so are in demand.
spoke to xtrac this morning its not something they do so looks like im saving for a nova or sending my transmission off to america to be undercut . £2600 for a nova and about £1800 for a hrc but they only have three dogs so apparently a bit snatchy
2600 plus VAT I think. the dog problem you'll only really notice on slow speed corners,at low revs and then when you start to throttle on can be a little snatchy.
I'm sure there arecompanies here that do it,will ask the guy that looks after my engines and see what he says

i'm sure theres companies here that do it,i'm must waiting for my engine m8 to call me back,might only be firma that do the full rebuild/refresh though,not just box repairs,but will post up when he gets back to me.
