My High beam wiring loom came today, which they forgot to included in the original order..grrrrr

    Now I can flash people..HEHE

But the biggest surprise was.....They sent me a whole projector kit too? Someone at the company has made a booboo.
So if anyone out there who owns a cbr1000RR 2004 - 2007 and would like dual HID projector headlights like I have. Drop me a line.

    Cheers

Pickup up my muffler from getting the 18mm bung welded on and installed a Bazzaz Z-AFM

Also put this carbon fibre exhaust shield on. The attack rearsets went on two days ago

I'm very happy with them and the workmanship is amazing. I had one small problem where I had a drill out a hole that was slightly too small but they are great.

    Some better pics

£130. which includes the 2 extra wiring looms and delivery too (UK mainland) They retail at £185 and that's without the added wiring looms. Like I said previous. I wanted both the HID lights and angel eyes to work independently via a rocker switch.

Call me if you fancy a 1-1 chat

    Regards
    David

Carbon fibre chain guard. It's lighter than the original plastic one and when I took the old one off it was covered underneath with years of old chain lube. Must have added at least 1Kg to the weight of the bike ;)

Did a short day on track at Blyton. Not a great day as my off there last time was still on my mind. Did improve over the day and was giving some good bits to work on. Needless to say the blade worked flawlessly.

    Put it back together!

Had to remove the wheels to get new tyres, and took the opportunity to thoroughly clean the rear, and chain area, which included removing the clutch slave cylinder and chain guards...... a MASSIVE amount of crud cleaned off.
Then got spanky new Dunlop RoadSmart IIs fitted, along with bridgeport 90 degree valves, in gold to match the wheels
Also trashed the OE hugger, so fitted a cheap chinese replacement (of laughable quality) only to find out a replacement OE one is only a tenner (which is very un-Honda like, I thought).
A few corroded bolts replaced with new ones, and all in all, it's looking damn funky.

Time for a rewarding glass of red.

Fitted a speedo healer in preparation for Afam 520 chain/sprocket set(-1 tooth front and standard rear) being fitted next week. Also ordered Lightech rearsets. Another job to keep me busy in the man cave:D

I rode the damn thing! Only the second I have ridden this on dry roads despite owning it for 7 weeks.

I've spent way more time adding bits to it than riding it although that it all part of the fun :)
